Harvesting friction to shine a light: transparent and flexible energy-harvesting device using bilayer graphene

This project used graphene (currently known as a dream material in the field of science) to produce a bilayer graphene triboelectric nanogenerator. A new approach for the fabrication procedure was taken by merging two methods of graphene transfer together—a stable dry transfer method for the first layer and a high-quality wet transfer for the second. By directly maintaining the key benefits of each method, the produced bilayer graphene TENG was able to be fabricated with high stability and quality, while also maintaining the exceptional features of graphene: transparency and flexibility.
