Desert sand as a medium for agricultural crop growth

Ameer Inder KAJEE, South Africa 13-15

The purpose of this project was to yield crops in desert sand. My hypothesis was that adding a mixture of plant cellulose, LECA, and silica coupled with an organism would allow for desert sand to yield crop growth.
