Converting vibrational motion in bridges to electrical energy

This project is about a bridge capable of converting its vibrations or movement (kinetic energy) to electricity through the use of a piezoelectric module. A miniature bridge is used to create a simulation of the process using a piezoelectric module, which is placed in a cube made of cardboard attached under the bridge. The cube has one marble in it for direct contact or applied force to the quartz crystal of the piezoelectric module when there are vibrations taking place at the bridge. When there is vibration, the marble moves and the piezo transducer starts to generate electrical energy, thus creating an electricity-generating bridge.
