A natural antibacterial solution using rainwater and persimmon calyx

Nida Memnune Totu, Turkey 16-18

Humans need a clean environment to avoid the spread of disease. Products that improve hygiene contain loads of chemicals and many are not readily available for those who need it. Can we create a cost-effective solution that is environmentally friendly and 100% natural? When you eat a persimmon, the first thing you discard is the green sepal, also known as a calyx, which contains a phytochemical that can be effective as an antibacterial. I can prove this by using rainwater and dried persimmon calyx to create a solution that is effective at sterilizing surfaces.
